Jono/Matahi was born in Tahiti and grew up with hippie parents between Polynesia, Bali, and India. After a long, formative period of traveling across Asia and studying meditative practices and Earth medicine, he eventually went into more academic training. He graduated from the Kimura Shiatsu Institute in Tokyo, Japan, the University of San Diego, California, U.S.A. and the British School of Osteopathy, in London, U.K. His work combines various elements and mind-body techniques from all these different traditions, yet he specializes in myofascial osteopathic work and shamanic emotional release. When not working in his private practice or surfing, Jono also teaches various bodywork seminars along with anatomy and philosophical aspects of yoga.
Ben became involved in Hatha, Iyengar, and later, Vinyassa yoga over 20 years ago after being diagnosed with a spinal degeneration disorder by mainstream healthcare. A close family friend recommended yoga and this became the tonic that allowed him, and continues to allow him, to live the active lifestyle he enjoys along with managing his body's ups and downs. He is an accredited Vinyassa yoga teacher along with a certified personal trainer and massage therapist. He has a strong education background in human anatomy. With a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (with a focus on mental health), he teaches yoga and meditation to those struggling with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. He has also spent many years practicing meditation, dream yoga, and zazen.
Because of a lifelong interest in nutrition, biology and wellbeing, Valeria didn’t follow the orthodox medical path when she started suffering from several gastrointestinal discomforts and headaches. Her healing came through changes in her diet and she immediately realized the power of the food we eat.
She thus studied Nutrition and Dietetics for 5 years, where she found her passion and way to fulfill her vocation to help others. Valeria discovered that diseases / conditions / wellbeing all spring forth from 5 general elements (personal, social, physical, emotional and eating). Her approach is to promote health and integrative well-being through natural, energetic, clean and nutritious food in complement with work on the emotional aspects, relationships, environment and lifestyle of each individual.
I am not a yoga teacher but would like to take the course. Can I still join?
You can take the modules without being a yoga teacher, however previous experience in yoga is required (at least 1 year of full on yoga practice and meditation). Upon completion of this course, you won't be eligible to register as a yoga teacher until you complete your 200 hrs registration program, and then you will receive your 300 hr certification for your full 500 hr. Please be aware: a continuous evaluation will determine whether you can fully participate or only audit.
Can I stay longer or come early?
Yes, we can arrange any extra nights for you. Just let us know in advance.
I want to bring a friend or partner, but they won't be taking the course. Is this OK?
No problem! We can arrange for them to accompany you at a special price. Email your request to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Why should I buy this course instead of others?
Unlike other YTT programs, our course offers you a unique spiritual experience based on Buddhism and Siva-Budda Indonesian practices. We offer a holistic and integral perspective on yoga which includes meditation, mindfulness, and a well-rounded spiritual approach which stretches beyond the body and the physical benefits of a typical yoga practice. We specialize on providing you with a complete transformational experience from the inside out, for this we will endeavor to bring in local priests and shamans for courses and healing. We dive deep into comparative studies and maintain a focus on core yoga philosophies, experiential learning, and inner transformation. We provide you with many extra tools and advanced technical skills that regular YTT programs won't give you so that you can experience a profound internal change to help you shine, become empowered, and uprade your teachings to the next level!
Do you offer payment plans?
We do. Please write to us at email@example.com or to firstname.lastname@example.org for further details and information on the payment plan options.

Note that you won't be receiving your 300 hr certification until you complete 3 -100 hr modules.
