We chose our hotels with love and we specifically work with locals to support Vietnamese economy. Our hotels are all heritage or traditional hotels, one that share stories and history; selected conveniently due to the location and based on the itinerary. They include a restaurant, lobby area, offer wifi, laundry services, money exchange.
If you are a couple or a solo traveler, you may have one double or queen bed for you. In the case of shared rooms, each room features two full beds, all with comfortable mattresses and bedspreads.
Depending on the city visited, the hotels we chose vary, reflecting the arquitectural influences and traditions of the area. To best support our customers we always rotate the biggest rooms and balcony rooms throughout the trip cities so all guest feel included and equally happy.
Our homestay in Sapa provides you with a true Vietnamese experience sharing with local village families! We you will be able to share space, food and stories with traditional local families!
Each homestay hosts several people one same space, in sharing very simple living and shared bathroom. An amazing opportunity to experience rural and cultural tourism in Vietnam!
We will also be spending one beautiful evening in a cruise ship in Halong bay. - Single or double rooms will be available for you as per your booking request option. The cruise offers restaurant services, amazing deck for stunning views and fun times!
An overnight in a train from Hanoi to Lao Cai is also included in your package! The cabins host four people each one.
The Vietnames gastronomy known for its widespread use of fish sauce, soy sauce and Hoisin sauce (its smell provides a unique character to the kitchen). The recipes of dishes from Vietnam employ many types of vegetables, herbs and spices, some of them like lemon grass, good grass and coriander. Throughout all regions, the emphasis is always on serving fresh foods.
Cambodian or Khmer gastronomy has a strong influence from centuries of Chinese and Indian food customs, as well as the food subsistence of the most primitive inhabitants of Southeast Asia. The Cambodian palate is open to everything that can be considered food and therefore many dishes that in the West are not considered for the table, the Khmers instead have made them part of their diet. Many foreigners who still do not know the country think that the millennial influence of Hinduism and Buddhism would result in a largely vegetarian population, but it is not so. The Buddhist monks certainly are, but in Cambodia the people of the village consume meat normally: chicken, duck, fish, beef, snake, ape, shellfish and others. Although the pure Cambodian does not eat dog and cat meat, Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean origin does.
Our chosen hotels offer buffet breakfast continental style and during traveling time, we usually stop for coffee, teas, juices and water is always provided for sale in the tourist bus. Most hotels will offer restaurant services in case you prefer to eat at the hotel and feel like resting. Drinking plenty of water during your trip is an excellent tip to keep hydrated and cope with the jet lag and long traveling days, as well as having some snacks for the day in case you get hungry between meals and stops to visit tourist sites in our travel itinerary.
